Tramaine Hawkins

Gospel great Tramaine Hawkins has been hailed as one of the original Gospel Divas.  With her unique brand of Contemporary Gospel, Tramaine has endured the test of time and continually comes out on top.

Singing Gospel for over 40 years, Tramaine has continued to inspire, delight & amaze her audiences with a vocal range which is the envy of many of her peers.  As one of the first ladies to bring Glamour to Gospel, Tramaine remains an inspiration to up and coming

Gospel singers who aspire to duplicate her style and grace.

Tramaine was one of the original Edwin Hawkins Singers and was one of the lead singers in her then husband, Walter Hawkins’ Love Center Choir’s Love Alive recordings.  With signature songs “Changed” and “Going Up Yonder” Tramaine is still one of the most sought after Gospel singers in the industry.

Keeping a very busy schedule, traveling both in and out of the United States.  Tramaine still finds time to spend with her husband, Tommie Richardson Jr. as well as her two children, Jamie and Trystan and stepson Demar, & her three grandchildren.
